Technical meeting on the timber declaration form

On August 18, 2026, representatives from VIFOREST, Gia Lai Wood and Forest Products Association, Plywood Sub-association, and Wood pellets Sub-association, along with approximately 50 representatives from wood industry enterprises, attended a meeting to exchange, discuss, and propose recommendations related to the content of the Timber Declaration Form. The meeting took place as the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment was amending Circular 26 on the management and traceability of forest products. In this process, the Timber Declaration Form is considered an important input source, assisting businesses in implementing traceability and meeting legal requirements for forest products.

Workshop on disseminating, popularizing, and raising awareness of EUDR regulations for Vietnam's coffee and rubber sectors

On August 11, 2026, the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection, in collaboration with the Northern Centre for Crop Production and Plant Protection and the Dien Bien Department of Agriculture and Environment, organized a workshop in Dien Bien province to disseminate, popularize, and raise awareness of EUDR regulations for the coffee and rubber sectors. The workshop was attended by 76 delegates representing the Department of Agriculture and Environment, People's Committees of several communes and wards, and some village chiefs, secretaries, and Smallholder representatives of communities, hamlets, and villages in Dien Bien province.

Webinar: Promoting sustainable coffee development, reducing emissions, meeting EUDR – Nestlé Vietnam's regenerative agriculture model

Currently, Nescafé Plan Vietnam collaborates with 23,000 farming households to create sustainable raw material areas, with plans to expand to 26,000 farming households and having collected over 40,000 polygons of household cultivated plots by the end of 2026 to meet EUDR requirements. At the household level, Nescafé Plan Vietnam promotes regenerative agriculture practices, including activities such as soil conservation (limiting tillage, maintaining ground cover, increasing organic fertilizer, nutrient management), reducing irrigation water, and enhancing biodiversity (planting shade trees, appropriate intercropping), as well as measuring greenhouse gas emissions at the household level… all aimed at reducing emissions from cultivation and land use.
